May/June 2009 Visits

Dr. Salemi and Northside Animal Hospital had busy months of May and June visiting schools on Staten Island, in Brooklyn, and a Daisy Troop in NJ.  Many animal friends made the trip, including a baby mallard duckling, baby Peking ducklings, a bearded lizard, baby pigeons, a ferret, rabbit, and a cat (named Pesto).  Care and husbandry of these animals, good hygiene, and general veterinary care was discussed.
