We are pleased to announce that in July, 2007, Dr. Joseph Augello, D.V.M.
joined the staff at Northside Animal Hospital.
Dr. Augello earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Wagner College.
In 2007 he earned his Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, St. Kitts, West Indies. He
completed his clinical year with rotations at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine (2006-2007) and an
externship at New Jersey’s Red Bank Animal Hospital in Dentistry and Exotic medicine.
A native Staten Islander, Dr. Augello's
family consists of his fiancee Jessica, a Yorkshire Terrier named J.J.,
his African Grey Parrot called Charlie, and 3 Bearded Dragons. Dr. Augello’s special interests include
ultrasound and avian/exotic medicine.
