Casey, a Northside Animal Hospital patient, is a Golden Retriever adopted from Autumn Valley Golden Retriever rescue  at the age of eight.  He was a surrender from from a hoarding situation.  Despite treatment for health issues he retained his friendly "Golden" disposition.  With a little positive training he earned his certification as a TDI therapy dog and passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen test.  He is shown below at an event for the New Rochelle Humane Society  where he helped administer the canine good citizen test. Casey was honored to meet some of the ASPCA  officers responsible for humane law enforcement who lent their support to the event.  Below he is pictured with ASPCA Special Investigator Anne Marie Lucas and Special Agent Jennifer Sarasky (of Animal Planet TV fame).
