Northside Animal Hospital's, Dr. Borzio has been successfully performing Canine Cruciate Ligament
(CCL) surgery since 1972.
In 2008 Dr. Borzio was trained and certified to perform a new procedure, the AVS TightRope CCL Stabilization surgical technique. "TightRope"
has been proven to be a very successful CCL surgical repair procedure. It involves replacing the torn CCL
with a synthetic ligament placed in strategic points through the femur and tibia to provide optimum stabilization of the knee joint.
